IREN is currently looking for a Labor - cleaner to join our Childress, TX team. Joining our team, the right candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, and reliable. Responsibilities

  • Conduct commercial & industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout data centers and the facilities.
  • Routinely assist in changing Data Center filters.
  • Assist with unboxing & racking miners as required
  • Assist trades personnel in performing maintenance activities as required
  • Perform custodial duties, including emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines for manual handling/lifting, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and visitors.

Desired Skills include:

  • Proven experience in commercial/industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina & strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as required.

Other Important Requirements:

  • A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; all other PPE supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
