Our focus on 100% renewable energy
Renewable energy is at the forefront of our business model and sets us apart in the industry.
Canal Flats, Mackenzie and Prince George have been powered by 100% renewable energy since inception of which approximately 98% is directly from renewable energy sources; approximately 2% is from the purchase of RECs. Childress has been powered by 100% renewable energy since inception via the purchase of RECs.
Our locations
We target development in regions where we can access abundant and/or under-utilised renewable energy. In the case of our data center operations in British Columbia, Canada, this is hydroelectricity.

Our infrastructure provides important services to the electricity networks where we operate. Our data centers can offer automatic dynamic load management that can ramp down electricity usage when demand is high or when renewable energy sources are producing electricity at low volumes.
We can then ramp up electricity usage when demand is low or when renewable energy sources are producing electricity at high volumes that may otherwise be wasted.
This supports the ongoing global transition to renewables, which is often intermittent generation that requires flexible loads.
