Responsibilities

Reporting to the ​Senior Manager, Commercial,​ the ​Commercial Associate​ is responsible for:

• Managing the corporate financial model

• Conducting financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, including the preparation of regular business development and financial reports for the board and senior management.

• Assisting the team in analysing commercial metrics for potential M&A opportunities and greenfield development projects.

• Providing research for presentations and analysis on capital deployment, key issues, and opportunities within the business.

• Drafting, as required, relevant documents including investor and board presentations, monthly and quarterly reports.

• Conduct feasibility analysis and provide insights into power markets, pricing, grid connections, and regulatory frameworks for development projects.

• Supporting the commercial negotiations and development activities for business growth and project opportunities, including feasibility analysis for technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Competencies include:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial, corporate development, banking, or a similar field, with exposure to:

• Financial modelling

• Project finance

• Infrastructure valuation and advisory

• Greenfield renewable, data center, or property development

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience with M&A due diligence and negotiations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with advanced presentation abilities.

• Background or qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or related construction experience is an asset.
